Senior Consultant – SME NB & POS Insurance

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant to act as a Subject Matter Expert for New Business (NB) and Point‑of‑Sale (POS) insurance processes in its Taipei office. The role combines deep domain knowledge with system‑design expertise, focusing on Appian‑based solutions and agile delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and enhance existing NB/POS processes and related systems.
• Define, validate and document business rules, procedures and exception handling for new system implementations.
• Collaborate with project teams to produce production‑ready requirements and hand‑off specifications.
• Support user‑acceptance testing, formal acceptance and go‑live decisions.
• Participate actively in Scrum sprints, providing clarifications, refining backlog items and reducing rework through early validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information, Business, Management or Science.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on NB/POS operational experience in the insurance sector.
• Strong understanding of compliance, internal control and audit requirements.
• Excellent communication, self‑motivation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile, data‑driven environment.
