About the role
Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Analytics Specialist Solutions Architect to join its Taiwan team. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, helping enterprise customers design and deploy cloud‑based analytics platforms that turn raw data into actionable insight.
Key responsibilities
- Design end‑to‑end analytics architectures using AWS services such as Amazon Redshift, Athena, EMR, Glue, Kinesis, OpenSearch and QuickSight.
- Guide customers in building modern data platforms, including centralized data lakes, data mesh patterns, metadata management and governance frameworks.
- Bridge data engineering and data science teams by creating scalable pipelines for feature engineering, model training and real‑time analytics.
- Deploy high‑performance data warehousing, lake and streaming solutions tailored to business requirements.
- Create enablement materials for other Solutions Architects to integrate AWS analytics services.
- Collaborate with account teams, professional services, partners and specialist sellers to drive analytics adoption.
- Provide technical guidance to executive‑level stakeholders and translate complex requirements into production‑grade solutions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, IT or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, data science, cloud computing or related domains.
- 3+ years of hands‑on design, implementation or consulting experience with data analytics applications.
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
