Senior Analog Engineer - Power Management

About the role

Join NXP's Power Delivery group within the Advanced Power Systems product line to develop hybrid converter and power delivery solutions for automotive and robotics applications. You will work on state‑of‑the‑art Tier 1 products and collaborate with global customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical execution from block design through verification and validation for mixed‑signal integrated circuits.
• Define system architecture, design circuits, run simulations, and create layouts ensuring quality and performance.
• Document design reviews, write design notes, provide layout guidance, and support customers via email and phone.
• Publish technical articles, file patents, and stay current with industry developments.

Required profile

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (M.S. preferred) with at least 4 years of analog and mixed‑signal transistor‑level design experience.
• Strong expertise in analog design theory, device physics, and ability to create novel circuits that add significant value.
• Experience collaborating globally with customers, design partners, test and packaging engineers, and business teams.

Required skills

• Design of analog MOS and BJT circuits such as bandgap references, amplifiers, oscillators, detection circuits, linear LDOs, and switching regulators.
• Design of DC‑DC converters, switch‑capacitor converters, load switches, and hybrid converters.
• Proficiency with mixed‑signal design tools and flow, including Verilog‑AMS modeling.
