Technical Team Leader – Foundry Technology in BCD

About the role

The Technical Team Leader will provide technical and leadership oversight for a team developing advanced 180nm‑40nm high‑voltage (HV) and BCD process technologies. The role involves managing stakeholders, aligning growth with road‑maps, and acting as the regional interface across the Greater China foundry ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of technologists developing advanced HV and BCD process technology for NXP NPI projects.
• Develop and optimise HV and BCD device architectures, ensuring industry‑leading performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with foundry partners to drive NXP priorities, manage resources and ensure urgent execution.
• Handle performance management, hiring, retention, resource allocation and mentoring of the team.
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders and disseminate company information to team members.
• Participate in lessons‑learned, CMMI and other initiatives to improve operational effectiveness.
• Align with business‑line partners to identify optimal technology solutions and support the ‘grid’ approach for R&D investment returns.
• Drive technology roadmap decisions through NTT teams and engage in benchmarking activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of technical experience in foundry technology and development.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong business acumen combined with deep foundry technical knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and present technical concepts.
• Proven ability to work across multiple continents and coordinate with internal and external partners.
