Senior Accountant

About the role

Intuitive is looking for a Senior Accountant in Taipei. The role covers statutory reporting, expense and invoice review, month-end close and system administration, and grows into supporting finance transformation and process improvement. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Safeguard local regulatory compliance and internal controls by delivering accurate, timely statutory reporting including GUI processing, VAT and withholding tax filings, and local reports aligned with established policies and control frameworks.
• Review travel and expense claims and AP invoices to ensure accurate booking, timely processing and alignment with company policies and Taiwan tax regulations.
• Execute month-end and quarter-end closing activities on time and accurately.
• Progressively act as system administrator for key financial platforms such as Concur and Coupa, covering master data maintenance, tier-1 troubleshooting and functional enhancements.
• Partner with local, regional and global finance stakeholders, including Corporate Accounting, Tax and Treasury.
• Drive or support finance transformation, process improvement, automation and system enhancement initiatives to improve efficiency, strengthen controls and support scalable growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance; CPA qualification preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a multinational company; experience with Big 4 accounting firms is a strong plus.
• Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proactive self-starter and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP FI required).
• Experience with expense and procurement tools (Concur, Coupa).
