Research Scientist – Deep Learning & Computer Vision (New Graduate)

About the role

NVIDIA is building a new research team focused on cutting‑edge computer vision and deep learning. As a Research Scientist you will join a collaborative environment that publishes at top conferences and translates breakthroughs into real‑world products. This position is ideal for a recent Ph.D. graduate eager to make an impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement novel computer‑vision and deep‑learning algorithms.
• Publish original research in top venues such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICLR, etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external researchers.
• Mentor interns and junior team members.
• Present work at conferences, workshops, and internal events.
• Transfer research outcomes to product groups.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of computer vision and deep learning.
• Proven record of publications in top conferences or journals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Experience with PyTorch or similar deep‑learning frameworks.
• Familiarity with C++ and parallel programming (CUDA) is a plus.
