IT Support Specialist

About the role

Everest Clinical Research is seeking an IT Support Specialist to ensure that all employees can work efficiently by providing timely technical assistance. The role involves handling support tickets, configuring hardware, and maintaining the IT environment across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve technical support tickets submitted through the ServiceNow Helpdesk portal in a timely manner.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops for Everest employees.
• Administer Windows, Unix, and secure File Transfer Protocol (sFTP) user accounts and permissions.
• Perform patch management to apply critical security updates, system patches, and service packs.
• Conduct periodic review of system and backup logs and manage log retention.
• Maintain asset and inventory records for hardware and software.
• Support office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and photocopiers to avoid production delays.
• Develop and document software/hardware installation procedures for the IT department.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with clinical trial environments, cloud infrastructure, or VMware is a plus.
