Quality Engineer

About the role

Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE), a joint venture between Air Liquide and Far Eastern New Century established in 1987, is looking for a Quality Engineer in Zhubei City. The engineer acts as the main contact with customers and production sites for resolving quality events.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with customers on quality-related tasks, customer audits and quality incidents.
• Work with production quality control to identify root causes of quality issues and drive product quality improvements.
• Deploy quality control methods on site, such as FMEA, RCA, SPC and control charts.
• Ensure customer product change notification (PCN) specifications are followed, prepared and approved by the customer.
• Notify managers responsible for corrective action if operations do not comply with approved quality rules or procedures.
• Support compliance with customer quality requirements and procurement specifications.
• Lead, manage and/or facilitate internal cross-functional teams across Air Liquide locations on customer quality issues.

Required profile

• Degree in chemistry, engineering or equivalent.
• Understanding of electronics material operations and their quality risks.
• Good experience and knowledge of quality management systems, with a customer-centric mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
