Quality Control Inspector – Furniture

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector will ensure that furniture and related products meet the company’s quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Based in Taichung, Taiwan, the role involves regular travel to multiple factories to conduct inspections, testing and follow‑up actions. The inspector works closely with factory teams and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial, in‑process, mid‑production and final inspections of furniture and related items.
• Perform 100 % inspections on packing lines or random warehouse checks according to established standards.
• Carry out product and field testing procedures and identify abnormal quality issues.
• Prepare and issue accurate inspection reports in English within required timelines.
• Provide quality updates to the QC Leader and escalate critical issues to senior management.
• Track order progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Travel between factories in different cities and work according to production schedules, including overtime when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in furniture manufacturing, furniture quality control or a related field.
• Familiarity with production processes and inspection requirements for indoor, outdoor or upholstered furniture.
• Ability to conduct product testing and evaluate items against defined quality standards.
• Strong written and reading proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel regularly between factories.
• Senior high school diploma or associate degree; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
