Field Process Engineer – New Graduate (Hsinchu, Taiwan)

About the role

ASM is seeking a motivated early‑career Field Process Engineer to join its ALD/EPI/PEALD/CVD business in Hsinchu, Taiwan. You will work directly at customer sites, providing process support, troubleshooting, and implementation to ensure our semiconductor tools deliver maximum value.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate current customer needs, identify new opportunities, and build long‑term relationships.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive new product penetration, installation, and subsequent process development.
• Define project scope, plan resources with the Business Unit, and flag gaps to management.
• Continuously improve customer experience through process and support‑tool enhancements.
• Collaborate with CS, EE, Sales, and BU teams to support application penetration and site operations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• 0‑3 years of technical experience in semiconductor equipment (CVD, ALD, EPI, PECVD preferred).
• Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships with customers and internal teams.
• Experience supporting complex instrumentation and applications on‑site and remotely.
• Clear, concise verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin.
