Prospector – Global Supplier Sourcing

About the role

As a Prospector, you will act as the front‑line hunter for Ozeol’s global purchasing pipeline, using market insights to identify and qualify new suppliers. This position offers a clear career path toward becoming an International Buyer.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new suppliers through internet research, trade fairs, magazines and international databases.
• Assess potential suppliers on cost, lead time, quality and reliability.
• Engage with suppliers from various countries, ensuring clear communication.
• Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth procurement and delivery.
• Build and maintain qualified supplier files for the global database.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Trading, Procurement Management or related field.
• Proven track record in sourcing, sales or trading, such as outbound sales, business development or market development.
• Strong commercial mindset with strategic thinking about procurement and sales.
• Excellent English communication skills for international interactions.
• Professionalism and confidentiality in all dealings.
