Project/Program Manager – NPI Board Manufacturing

About the role

AMD is seeking a Project/Program Manager to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for board manufacturing. The role involves planning, coordinating, and tracking complex product launch timelines while collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and contract manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive NPI project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal business units and contract manufacturers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
• Track program status, identify risks, and create mitigation strategies.
• Develop build plans and production schedules in partnership with planning teams.
• Monitor manufacturing metrics such as yield, cycle time, and quality performance.
• Prepare and deliver status reports and presentations to leadership.
• Analyze program data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in program or project management within manufacturing, supply chain, or operations.
• Familiarity with NPI processes and board/electronics manufacturing.
• Strong analytical abilities and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
