Project Manager – Heavy Duty Gas Turbine

About the role

GE Vernova is seeking a Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of Heavy Duty Gas Turbine (HDGT) projects. You will own the transition from proposal to execution and ensure successful handover to Power Services, driving on‑time delivery, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of HDGT project execution across civil, mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning.
• Own project delivery against contract specifications, schedule, budget and cash targets, and manage handover from Order to Remittance to Power Services.
• Ensure compliance with GE Vernova’s policies, local regulations and EHS standards; manage permitting and authority interfaces.
• Define and execute claim strategies with customers, partners and subcontractors; manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Develop, maintain and optimise the project schedule; use schedule data to track progress and resolve issues.
• Inspire and lead the project team, fostering a high‑performance environment and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Support subcontracting strategy and procurement of main site subcontractors.
• Provide progress and financial reporting, flag risks early and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant experience delivering complex power infrastructure projects.
• Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to manage budgets and claims.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams in demanding environments.
