Project Certification Manager

About the role

The Project Certification Manager is a key position within Siemens Energy's Offshore Wind Business. Reporting to project managers, you will act as the technical project manager for APAC projects, supporting developers in obtaining project certificates and ensuring compliance with global certification standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project certification activities and manage certification scope against contracts.
• Develop and implement robust certification strategies and plans with project and global expert teams.
• Negotiate certification requirements and engage with developers, design consultants, certification bodies, and local authorities.
• Maintain design basis documentation, oversee cross‑functional validation, and ensure data management and IT integration.
• Lead continuous improvement, reporting, and liaison with authorities and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical, Structural, Aeronautics or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in offshore/onshore wind turbine projects.
• Strong knowledge of global offshore industry technical codes, design standards and certification requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional Asian market language is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage structural design of turbines or large‑scale infrastructure and to work with stakeholders at all levels.
