Product Test Engineer

About the role

Silicon Labs, a leader in low-power wireless connectivity, is hiring a Product Test Engineer in Hsinchu. The role develops test strategies for ICs and modules, including characterization, qualification and production test solutions, while supporting yield improvement and cost reduction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test plans and work with designers on Design for Test
• Develop test programs and design test hardware for new RF products with high test coverage
• Support the product qualification process, bench validation and characterization
• Migrate test platforms to an in-house platform to lower test cost and address capacity constraints
• Perform yield analysis and contribute to test process improvements
• Provide remote debug and technical support to offshore factory sites
• Available for business travel upon request

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering
• Basic electronics knowledge and understanding of electronic signals and their processes
• Software programming experience for ATEs is essential
• Loadboard design experience is essential
• RF product testing experience is highly preferred

Required skills

• Programming languages such as C/C++ (highly preferred)
• Familiarity with testers, probers and IC product engineering
• Basic computer languages for data analysis are an added advantage
