Planner II - Semiconductor Production Planning

About the role

Silicon Labs, a leader in low-power wireless connectivity, is hiring a Planner II in Hsinchu. The planner coordinates the monthly production cycle, monitors the forecasted build plan and ensures timely delivery of products while meeting KPIs such as cycle time, shipments and inventory turns.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review daily WIP status and production output, flagging bottlenecks for immediate resolution
• Plan, issue and monitor wafer, assembly and test releases based on product demand and stock levels
• Schedule and monitor customer orders, taking proactive action to minimise delays and updating schedules in SAP
• Generate a priority list for suppliers and drive on-time delivery and cycle time performance
• Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers on bill of materials and spot-buy proposals, and follow up on purchase order requests
• Perform semi-annual inventory audits, resolve discrepancies and prepare inventory reports
• Attend or chair supplier and customer conference calls across time zones, and manage SAP transactions for RMA, quantity adjustments and lot scrapping
• Manage B2B data with subcontractors and take part in systems enhancement projects such as SAP and Adexa

Required profile

• Degree plus experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in assembly, test and module business
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing execution systems is a plus
• Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Working knowledge of advanced planning and scheduling concepts and tools such as Adexa
