Product Engineer - TDC (Taiwan Design Center)

About the role

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Product Engineer for its HTAS Engineering team at the Taiwan Design Center in Taichung, Taiwan. The role sits within the global engineering organization behind brands such as DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, CUB CADET, STANLEY and BLACK+DECKER.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new products, ensuring technical feasibility and estimating cost and timeframe.
• Collaborate with global teams, suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Implement quality measures and conduct prototype assessments.
• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-10 years of experience in product design and development.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with global teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (CATIA preferred).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
