Packaging Documentation Specialist

About the role

Within the Product Execution Group, Stanley Black & Decker is looking for a Packaging Documentation Specialist to join its Taiwan Global Lead Design Center in Taichung. The team covers Hand Tools and Storage product categories under brands such as DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN and STANLEY. The specialist leads the packaging document approval process in Windchill and supports packaging project development, working with a global team of graphic designers, packaging engineers and PLM specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate Change Notices (CN) in Windchill PLM for packaging new design, modification, tariff mitigation and footprint optimization projects.
• Assign packaging component numbers and build the packaging bill of materials (BOM) structure in Windchill.
• Help maintain the CN schedule and give weekly status updates.
• Work with cross-functional teams and manage priorities and deadlines.

Required profile

• Associate or bachelor's degree in information management or a related field.
• Basic analytical experience and outstanding organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, including presenting ideas and problem-solving suggestions.

Required skills

• Data organization and storage knowledge.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with documentation repositories such as Windchill.
• Plus: basic sense of RPA and DPA, and experience with the 3DEXPERIENCE PLM system.
