Product Engineer – Taiwan Design Center

About the role

As a Product Engineer in the Taiwan Design Center, you will join the HTAS Engineering team in Taichung to design and develop new products for iconic brands such as DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY and BLACK+DECKER. You will work closely with global teams, suppliers and vendors to bring concepts to market while ensuring quality and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new products, assess technical feasibility, and estimate cost, schedule and resources.
• Collaborate with global engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing partners to drive project execution.
• Implement quality measures, conduct prototype testing and validation.
• Evaluate and optimise manufacturing processes for both new and existing designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑10 years of experience in product design and development.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with cross‑functional and global teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, preferably using CATIA.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production optimisation.
