Product Counsel

About the role

Binance is seeking a seasoned Product Counsel to serve as the primary legal advisor for multiple product verticals. You will guide products from concept through launch and ongoing governance, ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards while supporting rapid innovation in the blockchain and digital‑asset space.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the lead legal counsel for at least two designated product lines, providing end‑to‑end support.
• Draft, review, and negotiate product documentation, user terms, and commercial agreements to regulated‑grade standards.
• Offer clear, business‑oriented legal advice on product structuring, innovation, and multi‑jurisdictional regulatory considerations.
• Collaborate with product managers, compliance, risk, and business leads to anticipate and mitigate legal issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Enhance the quality, consistency, and enforceability of legal documentation in line with global financial market best practices.
• Support global and regional legal projects, including responses to regulatory developments.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing and mentorship within the Product Legal team.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted in a leading common‑law or civil‑law jurisdiction.
• 6‑10 years post‑qualification experience in financial services, technology, or a top‑tier law firm, focusing on margin lending, derivatives, trading, structured products, or fintech/crypto.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex financial or technology product terms and user‑facing documentation.
• Familiarity with digital‑asset regulatory frameworks (e.g., ADGM/FSRA, ESMA, FCA, MAS) is a strong advantage.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; additional languages a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable working across time zones and cultures with strong collaboration skills.
