Principal, Finance Business Partner (Retail)

About the role

Coupang is expanding in Taiwan and is looking for a Principal Finance Business Partner for its retail business. The role focuses on improving key financial metrics, devising measures to resolve issues identified through high-level data analysis, and formulating long-term solutions for automation so that management can make better financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify the key input and output metrics that impact the Retail P&L
• Set ambitious goals for the team and for oneself, and implement concrete plans to achieve them, even in ambiguous or complex situations
• Track metrics, analyse trends and results, and share business and financial visibility with stakeholders
• Perform root cause analysis by retrieving the right data and digging deep for actionable insights
• Facilitate daily communication with senior leaders and influence both internal and external teams
• Give stakeholders constant feedback, raise flags and recommend corrective measures to deliver outstanding results

Required profile

• 7-10 years of experience in business partnering, financial planning and analysis in a fast-paced retail and/or technology-oriented organisation (eCommerce preferred)
• Analytical, detail-oriented, with a strong business sense and willingness to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous and growing environment
• Ability to gather, analyse and organise large amounts of data and turn it into recommendations that guide and influence others
• Fluent in English
