PCB Design EDA and AI Engineer – New College Graduate 2027

About the role

NVIDIA’s PCB design team is seeking a recent graduate to help automate hardware design for next‑generation AI‑accelerated platforms. You will work alongside senior engineers, gaining hands‑on experience in EDA tool development, AI‑driven design workflows, and system‑level validation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise automation tools and processes for PCB design of NVIDIA products.
• Research and apply AI techniques to improve PCB design engineering.
• Support EDA research and development for cutting‑edge manufacturing technologies.
• Collaborate daily with global EDA, hardware, mechanical, signal‑integrity and manufacturing teams.
• Continuously refine design methodologies and workflows to boost performance and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong logical analysis and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Honesty, resilience and a collaborative mindset.
• Self‑motivated, passionate about technology and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Familiarity with electronic circuits and PCB design.
• Experience with Cadence or comparable EDA design software.
• Python programming and EDA scripting.
• Knowledge of modern software tool flows such as GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic understanding of AI agent concepts.
