PCB Design EDA & AI Engineer – New Graduate 2027

About the role

NVIDIA is looking for a recent graduate to join its PCB design team. You will help automate hardware design processes for next‑generation AI‑accelerated computing platforms while gaining deep expertise in electronic design automation (EDA) and artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and optimise automation tools for PCB and hardware design of NVIDIA products.
• Research and apply AI techniques to improve PCB design workflows.
• Support EDA R&D for cutting‑edge PCB manufacturing technologies.
• Collaborate daily with global EDA, hardware, mechanical, signal‑integrity and manufacturing teams.
• Continuously refine design methodologies to boost performance and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits and PCB design principles.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Cadence or comparable EDA design software.
• Python programming and EDA scripting.
• Experience with modern tool flows such as GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of AI agent concepts.
• Familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes (DFF, DFA, DFT).
• Understanding of CUDA programming and NVIDIA Hopper/Blackwell GPU features.
