Data Analytics Specialist

About the role

Flexii is an on‑demand work‑matching platform operating in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. We are looking for a Data Analytics Specialist to own end‑to‑end data capabilities and help drive product improvements and business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights on user behavior, retention, churn, satisfaction and platform economics.
• Build and maintain dashboards/reports in Looker Studio (or Tableau/Power BI) to track KPIs.
• Design, build and iterate scoring models using NLP techniques, vector embeddings and machine learning to improve job‑worker matching.
• Evaluate A/B tests and quasi‑experiments to measure the impact of product changes.
• Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and manage the data warehouse in Google BigQuery.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring and alerting, and set up event tracking with Google Analytics or custom solutions.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API instrumentation, PostgreSQL optimization and NoSQL adoption.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or a closely related role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) and hands‑on experience with Google BigQuery or similar warehouses.
• Experience building ETL/ELT processes using tools such as Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Airflow, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, self‑motivated mindset suited to a fast‑growing startup.
