OMT HVM Process (Shift) Engineer

About the role

Micron Technology is hiring a new Process Equipment Engineering (PEE) engineer for its OMT (One Mega Taiwan) facility in Taichung. As a newcomer, you will join the engineering team and work alongside experienced professionals on projects that affect the global market. The shift team works rotating day/night schedules (4-3 or 3-4 pattern).

Key responsibilities

• Establish and improve process conditions and technology.
• Upgrade process capability and reduce production cost.
• Set up and modify process management projects.
• Set process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment.
• Evaluate, promote and plan new equipment and materials.
• Analyze abnormalities and drive improvements.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of process engineering concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Preferred: previous internship or project experience in a related field.
• Preferred: knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Preferred: familiarity with process optimization techniques and tools.
• Preferred: experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
• Preferred: proven ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.
