MTS, IE AMHS

About the role

Micron Technology is hiring an MTS, IE AMHS for its Taichung Fab 16 site. The role covers AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) hardware and software, working with vendors and global AMHS experts to develop advanced equipment and system solutions, and improving AMHS utilization and efficiency through metrics and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with vendors and global AMHS experts to develop advanced equipment and AMHS system solutions.
• Develop and track AMHS metrics, charts and analytics to improve system utilization and efficiency.
• Submit technical papers, posters and seminar presentations summarizing findings, lessons learned and problem-solving takeaways.
• Create actionable recommendations and reports for senior management and global stakeholders.
• Lead newcomers, teach semiconductor knowledge and AMHS systems, and coach them in routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate efforts across groups, resolve sophisticated equipment problems and develop procedures or action plans where none exist.

Required profile

• At least 7 years of AMHS-related experience.
• Proven automation experience through previous projects involving coding, machine learning, JMP scripting or similar.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor newcomers.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AMHS hardware and strong AMHS-specific software skills.
• Experience setting up and maintaining OHTC, OHVC (master OHT controller), MES and MCS software.
