Marketing Lead – Oncology

About the role

The Marketing Lead will drive growth for MSD's flagship oncology franchise in the Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau cluster. Reporting to the Executive Director, Cluster BUD, you will own end‑to‑end brand lifecycle management, from launch to line‑of‑extension planning, while building a high‑performing marketing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 3–5 marketers, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Define and execute local marketing strategies aligned with regional and global objectives to ensure sustainable growth.
• Own franchise P&L targets, translating strategic goals into data‑driven commercial plans.
• Oversee campaign strategy, launch planning, budget management and performance optimisation to maximise ROI.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access, Regulatory, Legal and other functions to ensure seamless execution.
• Strengthen marketing processes, governance and analytical capabilities to accelerate decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, preferably in oncology, with a proven record of managing high‑value brands across multiple lifecycle stages.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to deliver measurable business impact.
• Strong cross‑functional influence experience with Medical, Sales, Market Access and Regulatory teams.
• Leadership experience building and managing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
