Manufacturing Technician – Cleanroom Equipment Assembly

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. The position supports the production of advanced semiconductor chips and displays that power AI and next‑generation technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs on sub‑assemblies and components.
• Receive parts, conduct audits for availability and inspect for defects, improving processes where needed.
• Utilise test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies.
• Complete required documentation, including data entry, and perform computer programming, software installs or repairs as required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and act as an informal resource for junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree.
• 2–4 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry/military background.
• Related technical trainings or certifications (e.g., DEVRy, TSTC).
• Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills using established procedures.
• Ability to lead peers and train junior staff.
