Manufacturing HVM Tech Support Team Leader

About the role

As a Team Leader in the Manufacturing Technical Support Group, you will guide a team of engineers to ensure safe, stable, and efficient factory operations. You combine people leadership with strong technical insight to drive results, develop capability, and align with factory objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures across the work center.
• Lead, coach, and develop 15‑20 direct reports, handling performance appraisals and career growth.
• Drive operational targets and KPIs, coordinating daily activities and resource allocation.
• Oversee troubleshooting, issue resolution, and cross‑team coordination with technical leaders.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a Lean/Kaizen mindset.
• Provide regular performance reports and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Ability to balance resources, priorities, and production demand.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
