Manager, Security Engineering (DART Taiwan)

About the role

Coupang is expanding its presence in Taiwan and is looking for a manager for the Detection and Response Team (DART) in the Taiwan region. DART detects and responds to cyber threats across Coupang, minimizing the impact of security incidents. The team currently operates through DART KR and DART US and is expanding globally with the new DART TW.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage DART Taiwan members
• Analyze and respond to security anomalies, intrusion attempts and breaches, including root cause analysis, containment and reporting; take direct ownership of incidents in Taiwan
• Conduct threat hunting using data from endpoints, servers, clouds and networks
• Review tickets and perform security analysis of escalated cases from CSOC
• Improve incident response policies, procedures and processes
• Take on-call duty for urgent security events
• Collaborate with internal teams through efficient communication

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in information security, with at least 8+ years as a Cyber Security Incident Analyst
• BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• English proficiency required
• Proactive work attitude

Required skills

• Analysis of security events and knowledge of AWS or cloud environments
• System log analysis for Windows, Linux and Mac
• SIEM query and analysis of large volumes of logs
• Host-based security investigations (Windows, Linux, network/security appliances)
• Network security solutions (IPS/IDS, Netflow) and endpoint security (EDR, HIPS, anti-virus, DLP)
• Application security (web, mobile, email)
• Automation and scripting with Bash, Python and PowerShell
• Preferred: container environments (Kubernetes, Docker), network traffic/packet analysis and forensics
