Director, Product Management - Retail Selection (Taiwan)

About the role

Coupang Taiwan is looking for a Senior Manager / Director of Product Management to lead Retail Selection and Selection Intelligence. The role owns the product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered selection expansion, competitive intelligence, product discovery and catalog quality systems, partnering with Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations and Retail leaders to build platforms that identify, evaluate and onboard the right products.

Key responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for Retail Selection and Selection Intelligence products
• Lead AI-powered systems that find product opportunities through competitive intelligence, supplier intelligence and customer demand signals
• Define product requirements for catalog quality, product discovery and product onboarding
• Improve AI/ML performance, including precision, recall, retrieval quality and product matching accuracy
• Partner with Engineering, Machine Learning, Analytics, Operations, Legal and Business teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Build and develop a team of Product Managers and set operating mechanisms that scale with growth
• Run experiments and data analysis to improve selection outcomes and customer experience
• Present product strategy, business impact and roadmap priorities to senior leadership

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of Product Management experience
• Experience building and scaling AI/ML-powered products
• Experience launching technology products with Engineering, Data Science and Analytics teams
• Experience building MVPs, proofs of concept or product frameworks independently
• Preferred: retail selection, catalog management, marketplace, search, recommendation or product discovery experience
• Preferred: experience with frontier AI models such as OpenAI, Gemini or Claude, and experience leading Product Managers or managing products across markets
