Maintenance Manager – Power Plant

About the role

As a Maintenance Manager you will lead high‑quality plant maintenance services for a combined‑cycle power plant in Taiwan, ensuring reliable performance in line with O&M agreements and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee maintenance activities at the power plant.
• Manage O&M personnel and external contractors to ensure safe, efficient repairs, inspections and commissioning.
• Develop, review and continuously improve preventive maintenance schedules, procedures and checklists.
• Collaborate with the Operations department to implement advanced diagnostic and predictive maintenance solutions.
• Ensure plant equipment complies with local environmental laws, regulations and standards.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and support root‑cause analysis during unplanned events such as trips or blackouts.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in power‑plant service and maintenance.
• Proven leadership experience in a managerial role with strong people‑management and communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin; German is an advantage.
