Senior Field Service Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Field Service Supervisor to lead a team of engineers and technicians delivering on‑site support for critical equipment. The role combines people management, operational oversight and direct client interaction to ensure high service quality and equipment uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and train junior field service engineers, acting as the go‑to resource for complex troubleshooting.
• Allocate resources and dispatch engineers based on task complexity, customer needs and skill sets.
• Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct formal evaluations.
• Serve as primary escalation point for critical technical issues at client sites.
• Coordinate daily service schedules, preventive‑maintenance windows and 24/7 emergency support.
• Analyze service metrics such as Mean Time to Repair and first‑time‑fix rates to drive process improvements.
• Maintain relationships with high‑value clients, presenting service performance and addressing concerns.
• Oversee spare‑parts inventory and ensure diagnostic tools are calibrated and compliant.

Required profile

• University degree in Electronics, Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment servicing and customer support.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and the local language.
• Strong phone and computer proficiency, with good presentation abilities.
• High integrity, customer‑oriented attitude and ability to inspire trust.
