Maintenance Engineer – Electrical

About the role

Air Products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer specialized in electrical engineering to support plant operations, major shutdowns, and project work. The role involves hands‑on maintenance of a wide range of electrical equipment in a gas, petrochemical, chemical or textile/fiber manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support during major plant shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on power substations, motors, generators, transformers and related systems.
• Manage vendor contracts and coordinate shop support for critical equipment.
• Participate in project implementation, plant upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, reliability and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITE (2‑ or 3‑year) technical college in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in the gas, petrochemical, chemical or textile/fiber industry.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude.
