Machine Operator II

About the role

The Machine Operator II is responsible for executing production tasks on the shop floor while adhering to safety, environmental, and quality standards. The role requires close collaboration with supervisors and other operators to ensure smooth, uninterrupted production runs.

Key responsibilities

• Follow EHS policies and report any safety or environmental concerns immediately.
• Ensure all process and quality SOPs are strictly followed without bypass.
• Perform daily equipment and process checks, especially before start‑up or line restart.
• Execute production plans, preventing unexpected shutdowns or delays.
• Report quality issues, gaps, and equipment failures as soon as they occur.
• Operate machinery using the correct tools and standard work instructions.
• Prevent material waste and contamination.
• Promote energy and consumable savings through mindful behavior.
• Apply continuous‑improvement concepts in daily work.
• Complete any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Experience implementing 5S workplace organization.
• Operational knowledge of mobile machinery and electrical equipment.
• Experience conducting product inspections, data verification, and data entry for quality control.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (four‑shift, two‑team schedule).
• Basic English reading and writing ability.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Preferably experienced with handling chemicals in a production environment.
