Legal Specialist

About the role

Dong Fang Offshore (DFO) is seeking a Legal Specialist to join its international legal team. The role supports the company’s offshore maritime operations, including wind farm projects, cable installation and project management, by providing legal expertise across contracts, compliance and dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and manage all company contracts to ensure legal soundness and regulatory compliance.
• Provide timely legal advice to business units and support regulatory monitoring.
• Assist in litigation and dispute resolution, managing cases or coordinating external counsel.
• Develop and deliver legal training and updates to maintain company-wide compliance.
• Undertake additional legal tasks as required by the department.

Required profile

• Law degree, preferably with international education or experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in‑house team.
• Background in shipping, energy or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
