About the role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to oversee legal compliance for corporate and securities matters within listed companies. The role involves providing expert guidance on capital market regulations, conducting policy research, and liaising with governmental bodies.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with corporate and securities laws applicable to listed entities.
- Conduct legal and policy research, preparing analyses for internal stakeholders and regulators.
- Communicate with government agencies on regulatory issues and updates.
- Structure deals, review contracts, and advise on legal aspects of investments.
- Monitor changes in capital market regulations and advise on necessary adjustments.
Required profile
- Minimum six years of professional experience in capital markets and securities law compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex legal matters.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
