Learning & Development Manager

About the role

Coupang is expanding in Taiwan and is looking for a Learning & Development manager in Taichung. The role is responsible for designing and running development plans that improve the competency of executives and employees, and for developing next-generation leaders and key talents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the overall training framework for Linehaul, Driver (Fleet) and Sortation Operations.
• Standardise onboarding, skill development, safety protocols and recurrent training to lower turn time, increase facility throughput and reduce safety incidents.
• Set KPIs to measure training effectiveness, ROI and operational readiness across the three areas.
• Lead, mentor and directly manage the L&D Specialist/Trainer, assigning project priorities and supporting their growth.
• Take a hands-on approach: deliver high-stakes training, conduct audits and create content alongside the team member.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive L&D, adult education or operational training experience, specifically in logistics, supply chain, transportation or warehousing.
• Deep familiarity with warehouse sortation operations, commercial driver fleet training and linehaul/network routing basics.
• 1-3 years of team management experience, with a track record of getting maximum impact from a lean team.
