Lead Supervisor Commissioning

About the role

The Lead Supervisor Commissioning will oversee on‑site installation, testing and commissioning activities, ensuring that systems and equipment meet design specifications and quality standards. This role works closely with contractors, engineers and consultants to drive system acceptance, resolve deficiencies and maintain safe operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation inspections, testing and commissioning at the site and manage NCRs.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, schedules and method statements.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), O&M manuals and as‑built documentation.
• Manage Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), analyse functional test data and coordinate consultant sign‑offs.
• Coordinate with project and construction managers, contractors and vendors for system testing and documentation.
• Ensure availability of consumables and spares for pre‑commissioning and commissioning.
• Conduct safety reviews, hazard mitigation planning and lockout‑tagout activities.
• Oversee punch‑list activities and ensure timely closure of items.
• Attend regular progress meetings and prepare reports on construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and startup.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in site testing and commissioning, preferably on large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with ITPs, SAT processes, method statements and O&M documentation.
• Knowledge of quality control, NCR handling and punch‑list management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.
• Understanding of safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Northern Taiwan (Taoyuan, Hsinchu).
• Good command of written and spoken English is a plus.
