Junior Compliance Analyst

About the role

CompanyA, a global digital finance platform, is expanding its legal and compliance function and is looking for a Junior Compliance Analyst to join the team. You will work across marketing, data privacy and regulatory monitoring to ensure the business meets its compliance obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Review marketing campaigns and promotional content for compliance, ensuring required disclosures are in place before launch.
• Maintain data protection documentation and assess cross‑border data transfer risks.
• Support privacy impact assessments for new products and campaigns.
• Monitor regulatory changes across the company’s markets and translate them into internal guidance.
• Liaise with external counsel, summarising advice into clear recommendations.
• Process data subject access requests and manage related correspondence.
• Keep compliance training materials up‑to‑date and user‑friendly.
• Provide first‑line answers to compliance queries, performing initial research before escalation.
• Contribute ideas to improve day‑to‑day compliance operations.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in fintech, capital markets, or another regulated environment (law firm, regulator, or in‑house compliance).
• Strong writing and research abilities with the capacity to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
• Self‑starter who can work with limited direction and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Bilingual in Mandarin and English, comfortable drafting legal and compliance content in both languages.
