IT System Engineer – Field Service (Taiwan)

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking an IT System Engineer to provide on‑site technical support for Windows PCs, AV devices and related assets. The role combines hardware maintenance, software configuration and collaboration with global corporate teams to deliver reliable IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AV devices, PC assets and Windows‑based computers, handling installation, upkeep and troubleshooting.
• Support acquisition, setup and administration of Windows OS, PC applications and hardware resources.
• Collaborate with worldwide corporate groups to introduce new solutions that meet business requirements.
• Deliver training programs for employee orientation and ongoing IT education.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and leverage AI‑enabled tools for troubleshooting and documentation.

Required profile

• Experience with Windows operating systems, computer software and hardware maintenance.
• Familiarity with installation, operation, repair and issue resolution for AV devices and LAN/TCP‑IP networks.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems related to Windows, Office 365 and PC environments.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA or similar are preferred.
• Proficient oral and written communication in both Mandarin and English; manufacturing experience is a plus.
