Information Technology Systems Engineer

About the role

Arrow Electronics is hiring a full-time Information Technology Systems Engineer in Taipei (Zhonghe District). The role provides daily engineering support and operations for the company's hardware and software infrastructure, including maintenance, performance monitoring, reporting, solution design and consulting. Because of operational needs, the position requires commuting between the Zhonghe and Taoyuan offices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot issues across software, applications, databases, hardware and COTS applications.
• Deliver second-level support by working directly with IT teams and end users to resolve escalated incidents.
• Coordinate with vendors on hardware and software repairs.
• Take part in annual disaster recovery testing.
• Support Microsoft 365, Intune and ServiceNow.

Required profile

• Typically a 4-year degree and 1-2 years of experience, or a 2-year degree with equivalent related experience.
• No discretion to vary from established procedures; works under close supervision.
• Little or no related work experience, or experience that requires formal training in the theories and concepts of the function.

Required skills

• Understanding of virtual machines (VMs), storage and data center equipment.
• Microsoft 365, Intune and ServiceNow.
