Human Resources Coordinator / Specialist

About the role

CoolIT Systems Inc. is seeking a proactive Human Resources Coordinator / Specialist to manage end‑to‑end talent acquisition, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, compliance, and learning & development for its growing team. The role requires fluency in English and the ability to work across multiple HR functions in a fast‑paced technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle: source, screen, interview, and assess candidates in English, while building and maintaining a talent pipeline.
• Plan, organize, and execute employee engagement activities and company events to strengthen culture and morale.
• Liaise with benefit vendors, process monthly payroll with 100% accuracy, and support salary benchmarking.
• Ensure local HR practices comply with global policies and Canadian labor legislation, updating policies as needed and supporting audits.
• Collaborate with the global Learning & Development team to coordinate training logistics, track completion, and communicate local training needs.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience managing recruitment, payroll, benefits, and HR compliance.
• Ability to partner with hiring managers and develop effective hiring strategies.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable handling multiple HR functions simultaneously.
