HR Operations Associate (Payroll)

About the role

BTSE Group, a global fintech and blockchain company, is hiring an HR Operations Associate focused on payroll through its partner provider. You will manage end-to-end payroll for employees in Taiwan and across overseas entities, in a dynamic multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute end-to-end payroll operations and complex payroll calculations for Taiwan and overseas entities accurately and on time.
• Ensure payroll compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations and statutory requirements, coordinating with local payroll vendors and EOR platforms such as Deel.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll data and legally required attendance and leave records across global entities.
• Manage and review attendance and leave policies, including leave types, entitlements and application procedures, in line with local regulations.
• Analyze payroll and attendance data to spot trends, discrepancies, cost implications and process improvements.
• Take part in external salary surveys and prepare regular compensation benchmarking and salary comparison reports.
• Handle employee inquiries about payroll, taxes, attendance, leave and statutory benefits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, with a strong specialization in payroll administration.
• Proven experience processing complex payroll structures (full-time, shift work, part-time employees).
• Solid understanding of Taiwan labor laws and statutory benefits (Labor Insurance, NHI, Pension).
• Good command of English, especially written communication and email correspondence.
• Nice to have: overseas payroll experience, EOR platform experience, and experience in multinational or cross-border teams.
