HR Consultant / Associate – Rewards Consulting (Taipei)

About the role

Mercer is looking for a talented HR Consultant / Associate to join its Taiwan Career team in Taipei. This hybrid position requires at least three days a week in the office and focuses on driving the growth of the Taiwan Career business while serving as the primary client contact for all inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Identify client needs, manage relationships, and provide tailored HR and risk‑management recommendations.
• Translate client requirements into project opportunities, scope engagements, and coordinate data collection.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of rewards‑related consulting projects, ensuring high‑quality outputs and timely completion.
• Analyze client data, extract insights, and craft narratives and recommendations for presentations and reports.
• Coordinate internal project teams, lead meetings, track deliverables, and manage scope changes.
• Supervise and review junior consultants’ work, including data validation and quality checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Psychology or a related field.
• 6‑8 years of experience in HR consulting, internal HR/rewards, or client‑facing professional services.
• Proven experience managing or supporting rewards‑related projects such as compensation benchmarking, job evaluation, incentive design, or salary structure development.
• Strong knowledge of total rewards concepts, compensation strategy, benchmarking, job architecture and pay‑for‑performance models.
