About the role
Legrand is seeking a full‑stack Java web developer to join its expanding IT team. The role involves building and maintaining browser‑based applications that integrate with the company’s SAP ERP environment, while helping to define Java web development standards for a dynamic manufacturing setting.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug moderate to complex Java‑based web applications.
- Integrate web solutions with SAP ERP and ensure defect‑free releases.
- Document new and modified software, reports, and system enhancements.
- Manage workload priorities to meet changing business demands.
- Collaborate with IT staff, management, and clients, providing clear verbal and written communication.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience with Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tomcat, and JBoss.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and spoken English for technical discussions and documentation.
- Self‑motivated team player with a positive, “can‑do” attitude.

- Java (core and web frameworks)
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Apache Tomcat, JBoss application server
- Microsoft Azure (cloud services)
- MS‑SQL, MySQL databases
- SAP integration (experience preferred)
- Liferay portal (experience preferred)
- MuleSoft (experience preferred)
- DevOps CI/CD pipelines
