Full Stack Engineer – Java & React (Hybrid, Taipei)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and React. The position is based in Taipei with a hybrid work model, allowing collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full‑stack web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.
• Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop responsive, reusable, and high‑performance frontend components with React.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical solutions and deliver new features.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure system stability.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend stack improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in full‑stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
