Financial Specialist – Foreign Exchange Management

About the role

TSMC is seeking a Financial Specialist to join its Foreign Exchange Management Department. The role focuses on managing currency risk across global operations, supporting both headquarters and overseas fabs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute hedging strategies for foreign exchange exposure in the United States, Japan, China, and Germany.
• Conduct FX trades to optimize profit and loss while aligning with strategic objectives.
• Perform macro‑economic research and deliver regular market updates to senior management.
• Oversee foreign‑currency loan arrangements that support operational needs.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects, offering ideas and solutions to drive organizational initiatives.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in a financial‑market role within banking or corporate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Ability to conduct in‑depth analysis and present insights effectively.

Required skills

• Familiarity with VBA for automation.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data extraction.
