Financial Specialist – Corporate Finance & Planning

About the role

TSMC is seeking a Financial Specialist to join its Financial Planning Department. The role supports corporate finance initiatives, US regulatory compliance, and strategic decision‑making across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate finance projects such as capital market transactions, valuation, dividend policy, and credit‑rating agency relations.
• Prepare cash‑flow and balance‑sheet rolling forecasts.
• Manage US compliance tasks, including the preparation of Form 20‑F.
• Support ad‑hoc projects that aid senior management decisions.

Required profile

• MBA graduate, preferably from a top‑20 US program or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in banking, ideally investment banking; experience with merchant/commercial banks or corporate finance functions is also acceptable.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Strong interpersonal, financial modeling, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality work under tight deadlines.
• Logical thinker, self‑motivated, team‑player and quick learner.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and modeling.
• PowerPoint for creating executive‑level presentations.
