Financial Manager (Subsidiary Management)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Manager to oversee finance operations across our subsidiaries. The role serves as the primary liaison between headquarters finance and local finance teams, providing insight and analysis to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main business partner between HQ Finance and subsidiary finance teams, ensuring transparent communication and alignment.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly closing activities, review intercompany accounts, and prepare consolidated statutory and management reports.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to guide subsidiaries in annual budgeting and forecasting, ensuring consistency with group policies.
• Lead statutory and internal audits, guarantee compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and internal finance policies, and mitigate financial risks.
• Identify and implement process improvements, enhance automation and standardisation, and provide training to subsidiary accounting staff.
• Participate in or lead ad‑hoc financial and compliance projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance management, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and facilitate decision‑making.

Required skills

• SAP (user experience is a plus).
